In case you haven't seen my DIY chair post HERE you might not have known I love all things chevron print.  That being said, when I saw this dress I had to have it.  I also love the sheerness at the bottom,  kind of makes you want to just spin around in the wind. 

   I took these pics on my boyfriend's aunt's farm in Texas. It's beautiful out there so of course I had to take advantage of the scenery. "It's blog worthy" as the BF would say.

I love finding unique prints that you don't see everyday.  You know, not like the prints you can say "I had a dress in the SAME print last summer".  This print, my friend, is definitely unique because it was my grandma's blouse! Guess that's where I get some of my fashion sense from.  I mean really, how can you go wrong with a blouse that has chains AND leopard print?

Sorry I've been gone for so long, the holidays have been crazy.  Here's a couple hotel room snap shots of my new year's eve outfit.  Sequin dress + combat boots were perfect for concert dancing. Got a little scratched up from the sequins but it was totally worth it.  Hope you had a great new year's eve and not too rough of a new year's day!
