The Shoe Rack

Still not my dream closet but this will do for now.  As you can see below, my SECOND plastic shoe rack was better than the first but still not cutting it.  Since my love for shoes doesn't seem to be fading, I made the investment in this ikea bookshelf HERE to use as my (sort of) custom, portable shoe rack.  What do you think?

(Beside the obviously problem that it's already full hmmm)

Recap of my weekend:
1. Took down my awful shoe rack and replaced it with the shelves I bought at ikea a couple weekends ago.  It looks so much better, post soon to come!
2. Spent Saturday tailgating and going to the LSU football game
3. Went for a nice little bike ride along the river this evening

My Labor Day festivities included going to a jazz brunch in the french quarter, an IMAX movie, and the aquarium. :)  Little tropical storm Lee didn't stop me from enjoying Labor Day in New Orleans.  How was your holiday?

Well guys, Labor Day weekend is finally here.  Gave my white skinny jeans one last hoorah for 2011.  Goodbye white pants, hello hurricane season.  Us Louisianians will be spending our Labor Day weekend in the rain.  Booooo potential hurricane "Lee"!
